![]() We think that Rotary had a few pieces, removed just the Croton logo and applied theirs making the watch quite unique. When we looked closer at the rotary logo we noticed some ghost font that starts with a “C” and ends with a “N”, Croton? we think so. What makes this watch so interesting, and somewhat mysterious, is that this watch model is from Croton (Nivada Grenchen) and we have not seen a partnership from them before. The watch is housing a manual wind Valjoux Cal 7736 Chronograph movement. It comes ready to wear on a high-grade Swiss made sports strap in brown leather. This is an interesting, large Rotary Croton Diver-Chronograph that back in the day was water resistant to 200m. The top chronograph pusher starts the timer and the bottom stops and resets it. Recently serviced it is keeping very good time and all chronograph functions work smoothly. It is a column-wheel chronograph, the most desired movement design. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made manual wind chronograph movement, the very well respected Valjoux caliber 92 with 17 jewels. Look at the 45-degree angles on the lugs, they are great. It shows signs of wear, but never polished. The oversized stainless steel case measures 38.33mm across without the crowns and 45.75mm from lug to lug. The hands also look great with their aged luminous. The dial is surrounded by a rotating timing bezel, all in nice, vintage condition. The finish is all original and untouched. Take a look at the condition on the black dial. Very nice, original conditon on this vintage 1960’s Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver. Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver Chronograph Item #3054
